Zordon, I was wandering if you could offer me a second opion, you see being that tha playstation 3 was officaly launched on friday 23rd and was released nationwide yesterday, me and my brother were thinking about going 50-50 to buy it. However realising that I only have a few months left before I sign up for tha Royal Marines and due to tha fact I am a very picky gamer, I have changed my mind and decided I have 3 options in my hand...
Either 1. I wait for tha Playstation 3 drop a bit in price and wait for tha bigger titles to hit tha shelves (ArmouredCore4, BattleField:BadCompany, Frontlines:FuelOfWar, GhostRecon:AdvancedWarfighter2, GrandTheftAutoIV, Haze, Killzone(2?), Mercenaries2:WorldInFlames, MetalGearSolid: GunsOfThePatriots & WarHawk)
...Or 2. I instead buy tha Xbox 360 and get used to its awkward controller, but get all tha same games except Battlefield:BadCompany, Killzone(2?), GTAIV, Mercenaries2:WorldInFlames & MGS:GunsOfThePatriots, seing as they are PS3 exclusive games (why do tha Playstation consoles allways have kick ass games at ludricous prices...
...Or 3. Instead of spending my hard earned money on staying in and getting phat at gaming and fat at waist, I buy a nice and expensive custom Classic Army G36c with a G36k rail System, Hurricane 552 Holo Sight, Hero Arms 2500rd Auto Winding Cmag, G&P Extendable Folding Buttstock with 9.6V Large Type Battery, Classic Army Harris Style Bipod, G&P Folding AK RAS Foregrip, Milspex Tactical Sling, You get tha Idea, I drew It out, Trust me it's awesome...

Unless you can take you console with you when you join the royal marines then it looks like your brother will be using it while you are away.
Why not go 50/50 like you initially thought of doing. You will then have a little spare cash and might be able to afford the g36 without the extras you can always add to it at later dates. |

Thankyou as allways for you're input Zordan, Thats exactly what I was worrying about, my brother having all tha fun, becuase by tha time tha games I want are released, I'll probably already be recruited and training, but I don't see why not...
By tha way, as for tha g36, I'm planning to buy it from RedWolf, becuase rather amazingly, It all comes to a minute £495.10 ($973.56), and better still, for an International retailer they offer a full waranty,
So really I'm getting a very nice deal worth roughly £1000.00 for just a months wages, (I'm seventeen and I aint got no other worries so why not).
